We're returning to Oslo Negativ (ON) this October.

This October, WILLAS contemporary returns to ON — Norway's largest festival dedicated to photography. 
This will be our fourth time participating (we have presented solo exhibitions by Nick Brandt and Roger Ballen in 2021, Helene Schmitz in 2022 and Anton Corbijn in 2025) 

ON has established itself as one of the most important meeting points for photography in the Nordic region. Not just for collectors and gallerists, but for anyone with a genuine curiosity for the medium.

About the festival
ON runs 10–25 October 2026 at Nasjonalgalleriet on Tullinløkka in Oslo — the historic building that housed Norway's greatest art treasures from 1881 until 2019. After years of closure, it has found new life as a venue for culture and exchange, and ON has been central to that story.

This year, the festival expands across three floors — more than 2,000 square metres of photography — including the former Munch room, which will be filled with photographs for the first time. Over three weekends, with events throughout the weekdays in between, visitors can expect exhibitions, talks, screenings, workshops, and encounters between photographers, galleries, and audiences from Norway and abroad. Last year, more than 10,000 people attended.

The theme for 2026 is PASSION.
